Congressman Boehner has a Boner Over Financial Reform Bill

The Yellow Scare, also known as the Devil..John Boehner

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) has a hard on.

It’s not about the HCR Bill, nor is it even about President Obama. In his own words, Boehner told a crowd of bankers at the American Bankers Association government relations summit:

“Don’t let those little punk staffers take advantage of you and stand up for yourselves,” Boehner said. “All of us are hearing from our friends and constituents on lack of credit, you can’t get a loan, the more your government takes and taxes, the more regulations you have to comply with the more cost you have there and less amount you are going to have available to loan to customers.”

Newsflash for Boehner:  Bankers aren’t lending right now, despite record low interest rates.  The one group they are especially not lending to?  Small Businesses.

Allow me to translate for Boehner.  Here is what he is really saying:

“Don’t let punk Americans get a piece of your pie!  Don’t you dare let them!  Who are they to tell you what to do with their money?  And don’t loan any money to Small Businesses, no matter how low the rates are!  Why would you reward small businesses, when they are guilty for this entire recession, and guilty of almost destroying the world’s economy with their hard work and frugal spending habits?  Give the money to yourselves, instead!  That way you’ll have more money available to you at no interest rate to buy more politicians…like me!”  (Boehner has received $3.4 Million from the banking industry over his career).

Now, if you are a conservative, of course, you are free to comment on this post.  But don’t come here thinking that Boehner is your friend, and only wants to do what is right for America.  He is COMPLETELY bought by bankers; his every word says it.  He is for protecting the people who caused the financial meltdown, and against helping you.  He wants no regulatory reform at all.  He thinks things are fine the way they are…never mind that Wall Street and Banks too big to fail are engaged in the exact same practices that caused the last meltdown.  Boehner doesn’t want you to look at that.  Never mind that because of American citizen money, these morons were bailed out, and their industry has recovered nicely, while Main Street remains mired in a recession.  Never mind that Banks are guaranteed up to 90% of anything they loan through the SBA; they still aren’t budging.

They have no excuse for not lending money.  Small Businesses weren’t the ones reneging on their creditors.  Nope, it was the big banks and AIG who did that.  And how does the Fed punish them for that?  By giving them interest free loans.

John Boehner is a plutocrat, and he is trying desperately to make plutocracy safe for America.    You can’t spin this any other way.  He wants to turn his back on the meltdown, and hopes it happens again.

That’s John Boehner.  That’s the Republican House Minority Leader.  I couldn’t make this shit up in a hundred years.  Only someone as evil and greedy as John Boehner could ignore what banks did to America, and then demand that no reform bill be passed.

John Boehner, Axis of Evil leader.

    Well PPP was right.
This morning our water softener was being replaced and the plumber doing the job recommended a water filter to my wife. He expalined to her that the water contains so many chemicals, specifically CHLORINE, that when we shower we inhale most of that crap. When she called to tell me about the plumber’s recommendations I suddenly remembered where I heard about chlorine before. Extract foot from mouth, or maybe keyboard from ,,,,

    Kudos!

I am sorry you had to find out about it at all. As a WORLD, we should have never let things get this far. I’m working on a piece about chlorine vs global warming and as my daughter calls it, “Global Filthing”. It’s taking quite a bit of research, but hopefully, it will be worth it.

    Help me Pooper,

As your most loyal reader and fan I am troubled. Several posts ago you lambasted bankers for their greed and bonuses. Yet you left this post on another less reknowned blog:

“I’m all for war against health insurers. In fact, so much so that this last week, I and seven of my fellow financial advisors took short positions on a ton of stock from two of the largest health insurers in our country.

When the bill passes, and their stock tanks, we are going to make a ton of money off of their misery. Isn’t Capitalism AWESOME?

This just might be the best trade I have ever made. I thought it would be hard to top tripling my investment on Citigroup in six months, but this could be my Opus. There’s nothing like fucking companies who fuck human beings and profit from it. I can’t tell you how good it feels to know that we are going to profit massively because health insurance companies are suffering.”

So which is it? Profit is not good when its for someone else? By betting on the insurance industry’s collapse are you not capitalizing on the massive misfortune of the 86% of Americans who do have health insurance? Doesn’t that ethically equate you with Mr. Boehner?

I thought you were all about the free markets. Now, all of a sudden, you have a problem with me doing to insurers what they do to people everyday…capitalizing on their misery? That’s their business, you know…profiting from the pain of others. And the 86% of Americans aren’t affected by my short selling. But you can bet your boxers that the executives will be.

Cry for them, because I won’t. Turnabout, especially in a FREE market, is fair play.

    Good Luck!

I hope that you become wealthy.
I hope that this trash bill passes.
I hope that 63% of your income goes to taxes and you can “feel the pain” of those who work.

    Who believes this crap:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35965961/ns/politics-capitol_hill/

    Yellow journalism at its best.

MSNBC is in bed with the liberal agenda. Use the race card when all else, especially substance, fails.

Do you really think that people who assembled in DC from all over the country would debase their message with racial epithets, unless there were libtard infiltrators with mispelled signs and gun holsters, because God knows all of us conservatives love guns aand dropped out of high school. Jesus I wish I could have gone to one of them real colleges like that Olberman fella.
