WE WON'T BE SAFE WHILE POLITICAL PARTIES ARE LEGAL

PURSUING BUSH WILL KEEP US IN A PRISON OF THE PAST

The further from inauguration we get, the more we hear that the Democrat controlled Congress wants to spend time reviewing and prosecuting the last administration.  While doing that may seem like the right thing to do, it isn’t.

Not only that, but there is a much, much better way to allow due process its course.  One that will show the world that America is willing to abide by international law, as President Obama indicated we would.

To reunite our nation, and serve justice, we must allow the international community, through the United Nations, to pursue its own investigation into the Bush Administration’s activities.  This accomplishes two goals; the first being justice, the second being the continuation of hope and change in Washington.  Mark my words, if we allow Congress to pursue its revenge policies against Bush and Co., we will not move forward.

There will be severe consequences if we feed the lust for retribution in our nation.  Instead of moving forward, we will remain stuck in the past.  Rather than changing America, we will cement corruption in perpetuity.

Give this over to the United Nations, and let them investigate.  We can do the same with the Gitmo detainees.  They are prisoners of war, of that, there is no doubt.  The United Nations has a code they can follow for both cases, and in doing so, will free our nation up to rise from the rubble.

If we pursue Bush and Co. on our own, we will not take up a leadership position in the world.  Instead, we will continue his policies of  giving the middle finger to the international community, and we will ensure that America remains divided.
