ONE HOME, ONE LAND, ONE NATION

As an independent, I could have a great amount of fear about either McCain or Obama winning this election. But I don’t.
My hope is that after the election, no matter who is victorious, that we Americans make a vow, and keep it, to take back our government, and to never let another “party” politician tell us he will take it back for us. We don’t need a savior, we need our own involvement in our own government, nationally, and especially locally.
Everything that happens nationally happens first locally. Maybe we can’t all run for office, but as I will run myself in the next year, I HAVE to believe there are more of us who could provide REAL opposition to the two dominating political parties.
Above all, no matter who wins, it is up to us, the electorate, to reunite America. It’s not up to Obama, it’s not up to McCain. It’s up to us. Our Nation’s level of union and excellence will only be as high as we demand.
I, for one, stand ready to link arms with every AMERICAN.
That’s what we are, all of us, AMERICANS every one. We may have different ideas, but we all have one home, one land, one nation. Let’s not wait for another 9/11 to realize that.
