It’s official: CNN is no longer a news network, but a thriving, young, twenty-four hour tabloid TV show.
Michael has been dead for almost fourteen days. CNN has dedicated at least half of its air time to him throughout that period. I understand that Michael was a Pop Icon, but in the end, he’s still just one dead man. When he was alive, he was just one live man.
The media has made a mockery of his death, and before that, they mocked his life. Now, they just mock themselves.
