PITTSBURGH’S HARRISON DECLINES WHITE HOUSE INVITATION
Posted by politicalpartypooper on May 19, 2009

The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison has decided to decline an invitation to the White House, to meet President Barack Obama. The Steelers won the Super bowl in January, and traditionally, the winner receives an invitation for the White House visit.
I wonder how the Left will react. Will Janeane Garofolo call Mr. Harrison a thinly veiled racist? Will he be labeled as a wingnut? Will the attacks on his character begin immediately, or will it take some time for someone from the left to hack into his emails? Will he be called a sellout? Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Go to the article at The Huffington Post to see overwhelming evidence of what I was predicting. Some people just cannot take rejection. Check out the ’spin” in Huffpost’s title.

Hey PPP -
I’m from Pittsburgh…so this is/was a big deal here. A few things:
1.) He declined to go when Bush was president.
2.) He’s probably trying to give Rooney a kick in the pants, which is uncool due to the Rooney’s support of Obama, and the recent ambassadorship.
3.) Most people won’t bother to find out #1. (I did not read the HuffPo comments, but I bet they don’t allude to it.)
