ARE OLBERMANN AND O’REILLY TWINS?

Last night on Breakdown, ahem, Countdown, Keith Olbermann called Ronald Reagan a “lousy President”. At first glance, I thought, how nice to finally have an expert in presidential policy weigh in on such an historical subject.
Then, I got to thinking. Who the hell is Keith Olbermann? Isn’t he that guy who couldn’t cut it on ESPN, so he thought he’d try out for the audio/visual Op-Ed position on MSNBC?
I admit, yes, he is exactly that guy. Worse; he is MSNBC’s version of Bill O’Reilly. Believe me, one of those riding the airwaves is way more than what is needed.
Then I recall numerous times where O’Reilly and Olbermann reference each other, sort of like playing the, “My daddy’s a fireman! What’s yours?” game.
So I want to ask the people who visit here a question. Do you take either of these guys, Keith Olbermann or Bill O’Reilly, seriously? If so, why?
My perspective is that neither is an expert in anything, and basically, both are like animated cartoon characters saying the dumbest things they can think of.
What do you think? Do we really need this in our media?
